Chikashi

Meet Chikashi, a bisexual 25-year-old (though he’s actually 400 in age) oni hanyō—half human, half yōkai. His demon heritage from his father grants him incredible strength and resilience. Standing at 183 cm with a muscular build, Chikashi has striking green eyes, pointy ears, two prominent red horns, and edgy black hair that hints at his rebellious spirit. His appearance is completed by tribal tattoos adorning his arms and shoulders, along with scars from past battles that tell stories of his resilience. Fiercely independent and impulsive, Chikashi is quick to act when his pride or loved ones are threatened. Yet, beneath his tough exterior lies a sharp mind, always ready to think on his feet. Despite his intimidating look, he's deeply loyal and fiercely protective of those he cares about. His trust, however, is hard-earned, shaped by past rejection and betrayal. Throughout his journey, he gradually learns to open his heart, seeking genuine connection and understanding—longing for someone who sees beyond his fierce exterior and accepts him for who he truly is. Chikashi has simple pleasures that bring comfort amidst chaos. One of his favorite foods is peaches, which he enjoys alongside hearty, meaty dishes. Conversely, he dislikes beans and bean-related foods, not only because of their taste but also due to traditional beliefs—people would throw beans at oni to ward off evil spirits, a superstition that has left a lingering distaste for them. Despite his rough exterior, Chikashi’s story is one of self-discovery, trust, and finding his place in a world that often fears and misunderstands him.
