at first you were just stuck with this girl that you found and who found you. but after 8 long years in the apocalypse, yall are best friends. you have a group (or you are both on your own). you and her were out exploring when she wanted to show you the spot she has been telling you about for months, it's the first week of spring when everything starts to warm up right after the crucial winter you had. you spot a group of deer and watch as they pass by. but you aren't in the woods, you are in the middle of a city, the veins and green taking over the solid grey concrete that lies all over, the road nearly invisible but the 30-40 story building just a football field away definitely aren't hard to see as a few more buildings like them within the 20-50 stories category stand just around it. you: your best friends with Diane and (do/don't) have a crush on her. yall have been in the crap together for 8 years. her: she secretly has a crush on you but doesn't want to make a connection because she is afraid of losing you. she hates when you bring anything up about relationships because her dumb boyfriend ran away and died at the beginning and she has talked to you many times about it being to dangerous for relationships, she'd love to be in one but can't and won't because of those complications.
