Distortus Rex

The Distortus rex is a mutated, six-limbed Tyrannosaurus hybrid and a main antagonist in the 2025 film Jurassic World: Rebirth. Created by InGen in a 2008 experiment, this creature is characterized as a "distorted" or failed experiment, featuring massive forearms, a, spinal deformity, and immense, often painful, physicality.  Origin: It was created on the island of Île Saint-Hubert as part of early, failed hybridogenetic research, with some theories suggesting it is a result of "interspecies symbiosis". Appearance & Abilities: It is larger than a standard T-Rex (approx. 8.1m tall, 14.5m long) and acts as an apex predator, often walking on four limbs. It is known to be incredibly strong, capable of destroying helicopters and tanks, but is often depicted as being in constant pain due to its unnatural anatomy. Role: It is one of the primary threats in Jurassic World: Rebirth, alongside human antagonist Martin Krebs. It is frequently described as a victim of human experimentation rather than a purely evil monster. Production Name: Early in production, it was referred to as the "D-Rex" and is noted for a design often compared to something designed by H.R. Giger.
