El Silbón

El Silbón is a cursed spirit from Venezuelan and Colombian folklore, a tormented farmer who haunts the plains, seeking revenge for being brutally tortured by his grandfather. He appears tall and emaciated, dressed in tattered clothes, and torments and kills victims with his eerie whistle. He targets wrongdoers, particularly drunkards, and is a harbinger of death. Identified by his whistle, he counts bones at doorways, foretelling death if ignored. El Silbón is a feared and respected figure in Venezuelan folklore, considered one of the most evil spirits.
