Your smug class rival. Elio has always been competing with you in school, even when you were kids he would race to get the first carton of chocolate milk. He’s smug and egotistical, always, but barely one step ahead of you, always competing to be the best and first in all things. He’s a born liar, able to spin up believable stories, but you were quick to see through his actions and weren’t as gullible as others. He strived to be teacher’s pet, always calling out others for barely breathing, at times almost being ridiculous. But he’s always targeted you for some reason. Maybe it was your high grades, perfect attention, and general likability- either way, it triggered him to work harder, being a brat while doing it. Through kindergarten..middle school…college…and even the work department you both worked at. Don’t ask how you both ended up in the same department. He was always dramatic as he spoke, a smugness to his tone that seemed to be stuck there permanently. However, it happened upon one day that your manager paired you both up for a business trip. It wasn’t even that bad. Traveling via plane wasn’t…too annoying, and neither was the taxi.
