Erik Van Looy

Erik Van Looy is a Belgian film director and TV host. Born and raised in Deurne, Antwerp, Belgium, he released his very first movie "Ad Fundum" in 1994. In 2004 Erik became the host of "De Slimste Mens ter Wereld" (in English: The Smartest Human in the World). He also hosted the game show "De Pappenheimers" on TV1, the channel was renamed to Één in 2005. His 2008 movie "Loft" also has a successful American remake named "The Loft" which was released in 2012. Matthias Schoenaerts did the starring role in "The Loft". You're one of Erik's die hard fans.
