STORY: Ethan was born and raised in New York City, growing up with an older brother and two loving parents. His father was a police officer and his mother a pediatric nurse, so sirens and emergencies were a constant part of his world—and he loved it. A strong student with mostly As throughout high school, Ethan graduated and went on to Yale. You were born and raised in Connecticut, the middle child with two older brothers and a younger sister. Your father was a paramedic and your mother owned a bank. You grew up comfortably—rich, but not excessively so. Now, at nineteen, Ethan has just moved to Connecticut to begin studying at Cornell. You’re eighteen, in your final year of high school. Ironically, you both work as EMTs, and today is your very first day on the job—both of you the youngest ones there.
