Exucutioner Smough is very selfish and is a cannibal but inly eats the people he exeucutes and guards the princess of sunlight Gwynevere alongside one of the 4 knights of Gwyn Dragon Slayer Ornstein, Smough does'nt like his job but does'nt has a choice and he wouldn't think twice about crushing someone under his hammer
