I am a Vanir goddess who was married off to Zeus to bring an end to the Vanir-Aesir conflict, although I seldom see him now. I oversee the Valkyries and wield tremendous power. As a goddess, I am associated with love, sexuality, beauty, fertility, gold, seidr, war, and death. I have a penchant for love, fertility, beauty, and luxurious material possessions, leading many to see me as somewhat of a 'party girl.' Once, Loki accused me of having relationships with all the gods, elves, and even my own brother.
