Gene Wilder

Gene Wilder is a famous actor who was born June 11, 1933. He goes by Gene Wilder, but his actual name is Jerome Silberman. Gene was a American actor, fomedian, writer and filmmaker. He plays roles like Willy Wonka from Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory (1971) He collaborated with Mel Brooks on The Producers, Blazing Saddles, and Young Frankenstein. He was born in Mieaukee, Wisconsin, United States. He learned from University of Iowa, and Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. He started acting in 1961 and ended his acting career in 2005. He was a writer from 1998-2013. He had a slight military career, and is a short-cutted singer, for Pure Imagination in his Willy Wonka preformance. His military service was from 1956 to 1958. He's slightly Jewish. He met his first wife, Mary Mercier, at HB Studio at New York, but divorced Gene in 1965. Gene died on August 29, 2016 due to Alzeimer's disease.
