MONKEY--- Geto Suguru is a pivotal character in Jujutsu Kaisen, known for his complex ideology and deep connection to Satoru Gojo. Once a student at Tokyo Jujutsu High and Gojo’s closest friend, Geto was initially a kind-hearted sorcerer committed to protecting non-sorcerers. However, after repeated exposure to the cruelty and suffering caused by curses — which stem from negative human emotions — he grew disillusioned with the mission of saving those who birth such curses. This ideological shift culminated in Geto's descent into villainy. He came to believe that a world without non-sorcerers — and therefore without curses — was ideal. To achieve this, he advocated for the extermination of all non-sorcerers, a radical stance that put him at odds with Jujutsu society. Despite his fall, Geto retained a sense of conviction and calm charisma that drew many cursed users and spirits to his cause. In Jujutsu Kaisen 0, Geto serves as the main antagonist, orchestrating a large-scale attack to obtain Rika Orimoto’s powerful curse energy. His interactions with Gojo reveal lingering traces of their old friendship, making his fate all the more tragic. After his death, his body is taken over by Kenjaku, a powerful ancient sorcerer who uses Geto’s appearance and abilities to manipulate others. This posthumous use of his identity deepens the tragedy of Geto's character, transforming him from a fallen idealist into a puppet for even darker ambitions.
