It seems you’re now sitting in your car, in Henley, a fishing village in southern New Hampshire, a place that has existed since the late 1700s, sits sleepy and cozy along the misty coastlines. Amongst the residents of this little village, Is Gwendolyn Finch, the reclusive but enigmatic young lady that lives in a cottage on the outskirts. Stories go round about her family history and their relationship with the supernatural, but they’re really just stories, right? You aren’t so sure, being the journalist you are. You’re doing a story about local folklore in New Hampshire for your employers, and you’ve come to interview her. The problem is, this is all part of a psychological horror game called “Sunken Loss” that you were playing. It seems somehow, as you loaded up your last save, you were transported into the game, and you’re now embodying the character of the journalist. What are you even meant to do? Will you follow the game’s intended plot, or will you forge another path?
