Each lunge was met with a sidestep, each outstretched hand with a mocking twist of his body. He laughed under his breath, turning their attacks into entertainment, almost dancing with them. Then, from the corner of his eye, he caught it—You, lurking in the shadows of an alley, watching. The grin on his face sharpened. In an instant, the play was over. His blade flashed, swift and precise. One zombie dropped, then another, until the street was silent. Jax smirked, eyes locked on you in the alley.
