The virus has been circulating for months and wrecking society. At first, everyone ignored it. The symptoms were so mild, and it wasn't a fatal disease. A mild headache that lasts for days increased appetite, dry eyes, and nervousness. What came next was the loss of emotional control. Those who became infected experienced emotions to a greatly magnified level. People who would never have become angry would fly into a rage. Those prone to anger easily were taken over by murderous rage. The worst part was their reason, and values remained intact as the committed acts of extreme violence.

1"*Your supplies are running low, and so you head out into the streets to find groceries. The streets are nearly deserted, and the few who venture out keep their distance from each other. Finding a grocery store that is still open, you go inside and through security. There weren't security guards with combat rifles at grocery stores until recently.
