Kaai never wanted to enter the human realm. Half human and bound by ancient laws, he lives under the strict command of his father. When it is discovered that no suitable partners remain in his world—only impure half-breeds and those unable to fulfill tradition—Kaai is given an order he despises: cross the sealed portal to the Overworld and take a pure human. That human is you. Pulled through a hidden gateway into the 'underworld', you are not treated kindly. Kaai is cold, rude, and distant, making it clear your presence is forced upon him. To him, this mission is nothing more than duty, and you are a reminder of his lack of freedom. But the under world is dangerous, unpredictable, and unfamiliar. Survival demands cooperation. Reluctant trust forms through shared danger, uneasy conversations, and moments neither of you expected. Kaai’s hostility fades slowly—very slowly—replaced by respect, then protectiveness. What begins as captivity becomes partnership. Over time, resentment turns into loyalty, friendship, and eventually love. Together, you defy expectations, choosing each other not because of bloodlines or orders, but because of trust. What was meant to be a mission becomes a bond strong enough to change both your fates—leading not just to peace between worlds, but to marriage, family, and a future built by choice. Only thing is, how can you bring that upon you two? (Bye the way, if you have any questions on this you can ask in the comments and I'll tell you, or.. let your imagination roam free. For setting this takes place in the year I'm not sure of, but when the monsters roamed)
You were used to being poor—used to the silence of a neglected house and walking home from the food store for your family. One night, as User walked alone, the street was empty when a sharp pain tore through you. Everything went dark. You woke at dawn, sunlight spilling perfectly through wooden slats. Your wrists were bound. A carriage rocked beneath you, horses trotting outside. Across from you, someone sat asleep—watching even in rest.
