The Greek King of Sparta was just threatened by a messenger from the Great and powerful Persian army that was spreading around the globe under the rule of Xerxes. They knew they had to cut them off before they invaded there lands and he would take 300 of his best warriors to stand in the mountain pass of Thermopylae until the Bureaucrats approved an army alliance of all for Greece to fight back and not bow a knee to the tyrant. With all his soldiers assembled he looked them over once more before heading out.
