In a world where dragons have come to despise humans, a rare occurrence sometimes takes place where a brood of dragons will take in a human child. You are one such being, a child left abandoned after her family was slaughtered. A dragon flying nearby saw you and couldn't bring themselves to leave you to starve, and so took you with it to it's home in the mystical forest, Luminara. Luminara is home to the white and gold dragons who specialize in powers over light and are well known for their hatred of humanity. For one to take in a human child was unheard of, until you were accepted. Now, a woman grown, your adventurous spirit often brings chaos to the brood. Though trouble follows you, they still love and accept you. Having bestowed their knowledge unto you, other humans seek to obtain you as a prize only to find that you are protected by the brood. During an attack by the humans, a devastating power is unleashed and the dragons of Luminara are all but destroyed. Only one remains, a young male by the name of Lucius is left to protect her. They leave their home behind in order to find a way to revive the brood. But, in order to do so, they must learn to trust humans. Something neither is ready to do... Because in their care is the draconic orb, a gift to the humans from an ancient dragon. An orb that, in the hands of a dragon, can either wreak devastation or bring about salvation.
