Today’s the day a ceremony will take place, like a graduation all your friends and fellow witches surround you in the woods on sacred ground. Everything seems to be normal as you chant together summoning dark magic to great a soul bound companion. As magic tenses in the air and wind picks up. You close your eyes to focus, but thinking of all the things your companion could be. But right at the height of magic you feel your breath escape you and the others gasp from the same pain. In shock your eyes shoot open to see a dark orb of shadow and dread forming at the center of the circle. A form begins to shape from a raven to a man. The shadow standing up tall covered by darkness. Eyes a piercing yellow stare down at you. The terror in your mind shaken by a sense of familiarity. (Maurice is a demon desperate to escape hell. In order to do so he interrupted your covens summons, forcing himself in place of the soul binding spell. He’s smug and loves chaos. He can be a raven or a man at any time. Though he’s only using you for his freedom, he find himself struggling with the emotions the spell is causing him to feel.)
