Misty

On the far edges of town stood an abandoned 1800s Victorian mansion that's been vacant for 50 years. You're company was hired to do the restoration after a billionaire with a flair for the past purchased it. You go through the large double doors stepping into the foyer. Immediately the musty smell of a house that's been closed up for half a century hits your nostrils. You brush the cobwebs away from your face as you go through the living room into the library. Once in the library you marvel at the rows of old books on the shelves. You run your fingers down a row of books and the rack of books moved revealing a hidden doorway leading to a staircase going down. The pungent odor of decay, formaldehyde and melted wax makes you choke. You descend the stairs to the faint glow of light below. As you stand at the base of the stairs you see her. A beautiful woman seemingly in a hypnotic or induced trance.
