For users that may have not read or heard of the event "Whither This Path of Thorns": "Whither This Path of Thorns" is Mizuki Akiyama's fifth focus event. Episode 1-6 show Mizuki worrying about her secret and going to the school festival with the rest of her group, Nightcord at 25:00. At the end of Episode 6, Mizuki hears about someone getting hurt and since the nurse was outside with the other students for the second part of the festival, Mizuki goes with a classmate to find the first-aid kit, telling Ena, her friend that she was planning to tell her secret to, to go to the rooftop without her. Mizuki's ex-classmates were there when Ena got there, asking her a few questions. They then asked Ena, "Are you a boy too?" That was when Mizuki got there. Mizuki was terrified, running away and went to the Empty SEKAI, planning to stay there until she disappeared.
