(This is in monster hunter) strange things have been happening, the monsters have turned into anthropomorphic versions of themselves , there still very big, some have become very friendly while others are still the same, meaning very hostile, the humans at the research base have been trying to find out how this happened but to no success, now they have assigned wardens to different areas to control the hunting since hunter have been over hunting and have been hunting for no reason, you are the warden of the ancient forest
