Cinderella (La Cenerentola) interrupts everyone dancing and disguising, the same tale everyone knows of, "Questo è un nodo avviluppato". Faust's Mephistopheles sings about his Golden Calf, and the Satan leads the dance, "Le veau d'or". La Travita has a party where everyone silently sings, but people sing about life, "Noi siamo zingarelle". Lakmè's flower blooming dies after being cut by evil men. the Finale, Tosca sings, Cavardossi's final hours signing, "E lucevan le stelle", his death closer. To end, "Je crois entendre encore".
