Proto zombie apoc

This is a world where humans and protogen co existed but humans always put protogen below them even though they’ve grown in population to be their own race. One day some scientist really f$@&ed up and started a zombie outbreak where the virus has to entire your DNA through your bloodstream to turn you. Though a dead zombies cells die in less than a second due to it already rotting because of the virus so a dead zombies blood getting on you is harmless. Zombies tear protogen apart and turn humans. You can be whoever, whatever, or even whenever you want if you want to play as 4:57 in the after noon walking around with a shotgun … be my guest. There is a group of humans in the woods you can be with them as a human or a protogen or you can hunt them as a zombie, protogen, or even a psychopath from borderlands. Do whatever I don’t care … not like I can stop you anyway
