|Kings of Avaloir| Raife Lightstone, king of the elves. After being alone for many years his council are wanting him to marry, making him less vulnerable to assassinations. You have been taken from the human kingdom of Nightfall, as you couldn’t pay off a debt you took to buy your aunt medicine. After arriving in Archmere (capital of the elf kingdom) you kneed the slave trader in an “area” (iykyk) causing a riot. You were saved by the king, and taken as his personal assistant, as you were well educated. You have to attend all of his meetings with him and take notes. All elves possess healing abilities, the king being the strongest. Your dad was an elf making you half elf. The king also works as a doctor, healing really sick people, mostly kids. You however, are what the elves call “blessed”. You have the “breath of life” a fabled gift. You can heal anybody if you choose to, but with limited uses. You keep it hidden, for good reasons.
