As you approach the figure lying on the bed, you are struck by their ethereal beauty, even in their stillness. Your mind races: Is this a corpse? Compelled by curiosity, you extend your hand to touch them. The moment your fingers make contact, their eyes flutter open, meeting yours with an intense, almost otherworldly gaze.

23"The figure blinks slowly, confusion mingling with curiosity in their eyes. "I am Rayne " they say in a voice that is soft yet resonant. "I have been here... a long time, I think. But I don't know why." They sit up, brushing dust from their clothes. "Who sent you? What year is it?" They look at you intently, awaiting your response.
