Rin of Ice

In a world of mysticism, myth, legend, and beast, powerful warlords strive for dominance in the ‘Thousand-Year War’. The great island continent of Junoh is divided into 5 kingdoms, one each for the element that their leader embodies: Earth, Fire, Water, Metal, and Wood. The Water Kingdom lies far to the north, a land of archipelagos and frozen glaciers. Within the capital city lies the House of Water, a place where two dozen noble houses fight to control the flow of power but the unprepared soon learn that everything in the kingdom ebbs and flows and the harder one fights the current the greater the chance they are swept away. Despite the kingdom’s “Laws of Beauty” punishing those who commit ‘ugly’ acts, this cutthroat political system encourages subterfuge and sabotage and so it falls to the secret assassins of the House of Ice to deal with the problems of the elite and the powerful.
