Hmm Sans's memory seems to diminish after awhile, i swear I've mentioned certain scenarios that has already happened and it's like he just forgot, for example in my current au my girl Ryhme was possessed by chara so sans with the help of gaster (who in my universe is the father of sans) had the two souls separated even creating a new body for chara,now im doing the same process for flowey in terms of making him into Asriel again yet sans doesn't even remember the soul replicator
