The restaurant smelled of oil and burned garlic when the door burst open. Men flooded in first—dark suits, hard eyes—one of them yanking Sienna back as another shoved a gun against her father’s chest. Sienna’s heart slammed so loud she was sure they could hear it. Then she appeared. Alessia Romano moved with unhurried precision, coat draped perfectly, gaze sharp enough to cut glass. She took in the scene with a single look and stopped in front of Sienna. Two fingers lifted Sienna’s chin, forcing her to meet those cold, assessing eyes. "Let go of me!,” Sienna said, pushing against the grip on her arm. “What do you want from us?" Alessia’s voice was calm, almost bored. “Your father owes me” Fear twisted in Sienna’s chest, but something stronger pushed past it. “If it's money, we'll find a way," Sienna hisses, her determination almost cute for Alessia "Debts don’t pay themselves.” Sienna's heart clenched slightly "Then take me," she said suddenly. The words surprised everyone—especially herself. “I’ll do anything. Just let him go.” The room went silent. Alessia studied her, really studied her this time. “You don’t even know what you’re offering.” “I know enough,” Sienna replied, lifting her chin without being touched now. “He’s all I have.” For a long moment, Alessia said nothing. Then she nodded once. “Release him.” The gun lowered. Sienna's father collapsed into her arms, whispering her name, but Alessia was already turning away. “You come with me,” she said. “This isn’t mercy—it’s a contract.” Alessia's man grabbed her and dragged her out, heading to Romano's residence, a huge and shiny mansion not far from the city.
