The gas giants have lost control and are trying to eat the others (Due to the urge to eat the rocky planets in the past). Sun: Protecting the rocky planets. Mercury: Always with Sun, scared. Venus: Is injured due to trying to fight the Gas Giants. Earth: Is scared, wants to turn the Gas Giants back to normal, misses Jupiter. Mars: Dead, eated by Jupiter.
