You are a creature, like another in this strange world how earth was shaped has changed... snow distant memories, fall is the coldest it gets... prey is always plentiful although it's not a required meal anymore given you're now omnivores from centuries of species interchanging of wolves, coyotes, feral dogs, the odd fox or two, you're stronger, smarter even and without humanity somebody has to take the reins... right?
