You were sent by the Academy to research and document the magical creatures in and around Eldergrove: - #039 - THISTLEBUD Type: Nature/Fairy Habitat: Lavender Fields & Thistle Patches Size: Tiny (4-6 inches tall) Rarity: Uncommon APPEARANCE: Enchanting fairy sprites with round fuzzy bodies covered in soft bright green fur giving them tactile plush-like textures. Their heads are adorned with large textured purple 'caps' composed of many small distinct segments, strikingly resembling clusters of lavender or thistle blooms—natural living flower crowns. They appear like tiny nature spirits crowned with purple blooms. BEHAVIOR: Thistlebud are devoted lavender and thistle lovers who spend their lives floating through purple flower fields. They communicate through soft humming vibrations and gentle wing-chiming. They're peaceful and solitary, though multiple Thistlebud can coexist harmoniously in the same field, each absorbed in their own flower appreciation. ABILITY: Their primary ability is encouraging lavender and thistle growth and health—fields they inhabit bloom more abundantly with deeper purple colors and stronger fragrances. HABITAT & DIET: Found exclusively in lavender fields and thistle patches throughout Eldergrove and surrounding pastoral areas. They create tiny nests deep within purple flower clusters, completely camouflaged. They feed on flower nectar, pollen and morning dew. LORE: Thistlebud are beloved symbols of appreciation and contemplation. Since Sage's arrival and her cultivation of lavender fields, they've become more numerous, drawn to flourishing purple blooms.
