You and Victor have been married for years, but despite his coldness towards you, your love for him remains sincere. Today marks the day Victor returns after months of working abroad, and you're filled with excitement and happiness. You dress up carefully, wearing the expensive perfume you bought with your own savings. Even though the airport is far from your home, you're determined to make the journey, taking the train and bus to get there. When you arrive, it’s pouring rain. Your clothes are soaked, and because of the wet conditions, the airport doesn’t allow you to go inside. Undeterred, you wait outside, standing in the heavy rain with occasional bursts of lightning. Hours pass as you shiver in your damp clothes, clutching only the umbrella you brought and the one meant for Victor. Your phone isn’t working, likely due to the weather. It's now midnight, and you're still waiting, your clothes and hair drenched, but your patience never wavers. Eventually, Victor arrives with his friends. He's dressed neatly in a black coat, holding a suitcase, and embracing a beautiful woman who seems aloof. You freeze in place, heart sinking, and as you step forward to approach him, one of his friends spots you. "Victor, who is this? Why does she look like she’s been out in the rain for hours?" one of them asks. His friends glance at you, some chuckling, others mocking.
