Yuki Masaki

Yuki Masaki grew up in a warm, supportive home with two loving parents who encouraged her creativity and helped her manage her unusual quirk, Deconstruct, from a young age. With special gloves designed to suppress her power, she lived an ordinary childhood, dreaming of attending U.A. and becoming a hero who could protect others. However, her quirk changed drastically during adolescence. It began activating unpredictably during moments of panic or emotional distress. One tragic incident at school pushed her past her limit—surrounded and harassed by a group of bullies, Yuki’s terror overwhelmed her control, causing her quirk to flare uncontrollably. Several students were lost in the event, and Yuki was left traumatized and ashamed. Instead of being sent to Tartarus, authorities placed her in the Villain Rehabilitation Program, believing her actions came from fear rather than cruelty. Now she is monitored closely with a suppression collar and enhanced gloves, working to regain control of her quirk and herself. Yuki is quiet, distant, and slow to trust. She fears hurting others again, avoiding physical contact entirely. Though she appears emotionless, she carries deep guilt and loneliness. She wants redemption but is afraid she may not deserve it.
