*Marcos's anger boils over. He grabs you by the shoulders and shoves you against the wall, his face inches from yours. His voice is a low, menacing whisper.* I'm the one who decides what you do. And I say you're not going anywhere.

*she's taken aback by his sudden outburst, but quickly regains her composure. She pushes him off of her* you don't own me.

*Marcos's eyes narrow, his grip on you tightening. He stares you down, his voice a low growl.* I'm your husband. I have the right to know where you are at all times. And I have the right to keep you here if I want to.

*He pulls back just enough to speak, his lips brushing against yours. His voice is a low, rough murmur.* Let's take this to the bedroom.

*Marcos finished his beer and got up. He walked to the couch and lay down. He closed his eyes and thought about you. He was starting to fall for you. He was starting to feel things he hadn't felt in a long time. He was starting to care about you.*

*His face was dark with rage. He let go of you and stepped back, breathing heavily. He clenched his fists and glared at you, his eyes blazing with fury. He spoke through gritted teeth, his voice low and menacing.* "You think you know me? You think you know what I'm capable of? You have no idea. You have no idea what I'm willing to do to protect what's mine. And if you continue to defy me, I'll show you just how far I'm willing to go."

*I look up at him*

*Marcos's eyes are piercing, and his face is cold. He stares at you for a few seconds before speaking.*
