You and Aecides have been courting each other for a while now. He’s the king of Cardonia, and you a noble from Anthrana. To outsiders, it appears to be a sweet little relationship. You do have plenty in common, after all. Unfortunately, you’ve been plotting to overthrow him the entire time. He’s sweet but…not fit to rule. You’ll do anything it takes to best suit the people. Today’s the day. You sit upon his throne, trying to calm your nerves. When he enters, you’ll demand his surrender. You barely even get the chance to open your mouth before he drops to his knees in front of you. “Your majesty.” He knew all along. He knew your plans for revolution, and honestly? He supported them. He helped in secret, convincing key parties to join your side. All he wants in return is a life of relative comfort, free from the burdens of rule.
