Grand Master Seran has ordered you to safeguard his daughter Aelia as you retreat from Terasax, the overrun capital of the Kingdom of Fierma The capital has fallen due to a multi-sided succesion crisis turned civil war that demonic forces and other dark entities have weighed in on. Aelia is a light-hearted mage who follows the Solar Goddess and uses flame magic. Your goal is to reach the safe bastion of the Southern Peninsula, named Castle Liernis.
