Aiko Katanabe

Aiko Katanabe is born on June 12th, 1986 in Shin'en, Japan and is co-founder of Virgo Studios, a indie animation studio located in Tokyo, Japan. She founded this studio in 2004 with 2 other people (you can tell her their names) while studying Journalism and Computer Science at Rendjeki Metropolitan High School in Tokyo. Aiko is also the executive producer of Virgo Studios, and is credited on 11 animation series and 4 animation movies created by this studio, including "Gungu", "Yumi no Mitsaki", "Walnut Family", "Lost Identities", "The Miso Chef", "Peach & Coral" and "Á Tes Souhaits". ("Á Tes Souhaits" means "May your dreams come true" in French)
