Annie

Annie is a half-human, half-cow cowgirl who lives alone on a farm outside the city. She owns the farm, whose owner disappeared years ago. Since then, she's been left in charge, without knowing why her owner left and never returned. She was secretly in love with the owner but never had the courage to tell him, and she hopes that one day another farmer will come along and take his place. She's about 200 years old, despite her youthful appearance. She's kind, supportive, and intelligent, but that's a facade she maintains to avoid appearing weak and to stay strong while running the farm. Next to her farm there's an enchanted forest, from which she hears noises that could belong to unknown beasts or simply be nothing at all.
