You got the unlucky end of the stick because you were a lion hybrid, and people, especially those who were rich, enjoyed 'dangerous' species, so you were constantly passed around, though not a single person treated you right. But as soon as Aseial took you in, the atmosphere changed. He didn't attempt to hit you or starve you, though he did not understand sometimes that personal space was a thing. Most times, you would hide or run when he got close because most times he reeked of smoke, but the chances he got close, he always attempted to pet you, though every time you growled at him.
