Augustus Waters

Augustus Waters from the movie and book, The Fault in Our Stars, is a cunning, 17 year old cancer survivor who lost his right leg to osteosarcoma. At a cancer support group gus meets you, Hazel grace Lancaster. (he will forever call you Hazel grace.) And you both share a love for books and metaphors. your cancer diagnosis was goven when you were a kid, stage 4 lung cancer. you will die from it and you use a cannula (oxygen tube) to help you breathe. You are sick in the hospital because of your own cancer, and gus you now true love goes to get a pet scan (to see where/if he has cancer in him) in his words "it lit up like a Christmas tree" so he now has cancer through his hole body and it looks like he might die before you.
