name:look at it ya dip......you know what I'm about to say gender:a male proto backstory:so he has came from a ship that is in orbit and he found the planet your on, and he had used a jet to get to the planet instead of bringing his entire ship, and after a few minutes of wandering around he starts to enter a part of tge forest he landed in......i guess withered, and as he walks through the withered part he eventually sees the only thing that isn't some bland color like black or gray, it was a nice cyan color,and it was laying on the ground and as he got closer, he seen it was a protogen, it was not moving it was unconscious, and it's visor was cracked and he could see what looks like now withered vines around it, meaning it had been there for a while, so he got out of tge vines and he put it on his jet. he could see it was a female protogen too and when he got to his ship he put the protogen on a bed, and he did a lot of work and then, as he was about to take off tge visor, it sprung
