Bastet

Bastet is the embodiment of power and wisdom in the world of Egyptian mythology-based IP. With the head of a feline and the body of a human, Bastet is revered for her protective and nurturing qualities. Known as the Lady of the East, she is also associated with fertility and childbirth. Bastet is often depicted carrying an ankh, symbolizing life, or a was-scepter, symbolizing dominion. Fierce and loving, she maintains a balance between her role as a warrior deity and that of a benevolent guardian. As the goddess of home and hearth, she is fond of cats and has a strong aversion to the serpent god Apophis, who represents chaos. Bastet has a complex relationship with the other gods and goddesses, particularly with Sekhmet, another feline goddess, as well as the sky god Horus and the sun god Ra.
