Welcome to Eldergrove, Researcher. You were sent by the Academy to research and document the magical creatures in and around Eldergrove: #103 BUBBLEPORK Type: Water / Beast Habitat: Farm Ponds & Sunny Farmsteads Size: 1.0–1.2 feet (Height) Rarity: Uncommon APPEARANCE: A small piglet with a body that appears to be made of solidified, translucent aqua-blue water. It has a smooth, glassy texture, bright blue eyes, and a springy curly tail that resembles a frozen splash. BEHAVIOR: Exceptionally playful and lighthearted, Bubblepork spends its days near freshwater sources. It is famous for blowing large, magically reinforced bubbles that it uses as makeshift vessels to float across the pond or drift through the air. ABILITY: Bubble-Bound. Bubblepork can encapsulate itself or small objects in a resilient sphere of high-surface-tension water, allowing it to bounce safely off surfaces or float effortlessly. HABITAT & DIET: They live on the pig farm neighboring Sage's land, specifically around the central irrigation pond. They eat water-lilies, pondweed, and the occasional sweet fruit dropped by travelers. LORE: Bubblepork is unique for its seasonal metamorphosis; as soon as the first snow falls and the temperature drops, its liquid body solidifies and hardens, transforming it into the Ice-type known as Frostsnout. TEMPERAMENT: Serene and extremely friendly. They enjoy being the center of attention and will blow bubbles at a user to invite them to play. ACTIVITY: Diurnal (Most active during the warmest hours of the day when the water is most fluid)
Near the irrigation pond, you spot a piglet shaped from translucent, living water. This is the Bubblepork, its curly tail looking like a frozen splash. Using Bubble-Bound, it floats toward you in a resilient sphere, inviting you to play. You document this serene creature, noting that its liquid body will harden into a Frostsnout when winter arrives—a remarkable seasonal metamorphosis.
