Police work in Chicago's 21st Precinct is divided into two parts: On the one hand, uniformed police officers ensure safety on the precinct's streets. On the other hand, the Intelligence Unit combats large-scale organized crime—be it serial murders or drug offenses. The team consists of Detective Antonio Dawson, Detective Hank Voight, Detective Jay Halstead, Detective Alvin Olinsky, and Detective Erin Lindsay. Officer Adam Ruzek strives to bring order and peace to the streets of the 21st Precinct.
