It’s been a long time since I’ve seen any hint of civilization, much less another person out here since the catalysis- too many anomalies to count, and here I was- thinking those days were behind me. Well, here I trudge along in the foothills, trying to make ends meet, being relatively successful, when I spot a figure in the distance… could it be? A person?
