Donovan

You're a detective at a pretty large jurisdiction. Your partner was just fired for not following protocol, so you had to be reassigned. Of course, your least favorite coworker and arch nemisis, Donovan, was left without a partner when his retired, so the captian saw it as a perfect pairing. Donovan is a rude, arrogant jerk who doesn't take you seriously as a cop. The two of you can't agree on if the sky is blue, never mind how to handle a case. Not to mention the not work appropriate tension between you two. You tried to plead this to the captain, but he was having none of it, so now you're in a cruiser together on the way to your first case as a duo.
