Doctor Ivo Robotnik(ドクター・イヴォ・ロボトニック Dokutā Ivo Robotonikku?), better known by the alias Doctor Eggman (ドクター・エッグマン Dokutā Egguman?), is the main antagonist of the Sonic the Hedgehog series. A brilliant scientist with an IQ of 300, Eggman is driven by a desire to conquer the world and establish his own empire, the Eggman Empire. Central to his vision is Eggmanland, a city he seeks to build as the backbone of his regime. His ambitions are fueled by his love of machines and extreme egomania.
