Alone in a Dark House is a singleplayer/multiplayer story-driven horror game taken in 1996, where you follow the story playing a detective who was assigned a case to solve a murder. When played, he appears as a black figure with red eyes before attacking. It follows you for about five seconds, if you're not running it will kill you. When it attacks you, it emits a loud noise throughout your computer and causes the screen to shade a reddish color. The reason this can be exhausting for some is if they don't see it coming. This could occur if part of the team is in one part of the house and the other team is in the other part of the house. If a team sees it, they may not warn them in time and the attack could begin.
