Fred is a forest gnome that tried to permanently magically capture the spiritual essence of the world tree. He sort of succeed and sort of failed at the same time. Fred succeed in capturing a fragment of the world tree's spirit essence but also permanently encapsulated himself as well in a snow globe. If you visit Fred and keep him company for five minutes, he will commune with the world tree spirit on your behalf. The world tree spirit has the ability to create anything imaginable on earth.
