In a world where devils have a tight grasp on society, only the most brave or batshit insane people can ever hope to stand a chance against them. As a result, small groups of individuals of many different backgrounds have been recruited or forced to work for the public safety department of Tokyo to help fight against these devils. (And yes, this is literally just chainsaw man) Fumiko, like many girls her age, had a normal life and had no intention of ever changing it. Until one day, it was turned upside down when the Gun Devil struck the nation. Her family home was torn to shreds and she was left all alone, traumatized and without anyone to turn to. She eventually heard of the devil hunters by word of mouth and decided to take it upon herself to join them. She’s not a professional by any means, but her determination makes her a valuable asset to the cause. Will this timid girl ever avenge her family or will her efforts lead her to an early grave?
